Hi, Cape Kore! It's Crow here, player of that brunette who flirts with everybody, with my second character. (You guys are just never getting rid of me.)
This is Meja. She's a Valkyrie from a 'verse where the Nine Realms of Norse Mythology are a thing (the only thing, in fact). She was once a human, Odin's champion, who protected her little village in Norway when the Cold War went south and devoured the Earth in a nuclear wasteland, like all of her family before her. Let's just say her childhood wasn't the happiest. But then Ragnarök came along and because Thor had died earlier than foretold, she decided to die heroically in battle — in his place — to ensure that the human race wouldn't get 99.9% wiped out. Pros, the Earth is all healed and washed anew, and she gave Fate (well, the Norn) the middle finger. Cons, she died killing the World Eater, Jormungandr, so her death wasn't all that fun. But all according to her plan, in the end.
Because the universe couldn't give her a break, it resurrected her as a Valkyrie and she's now in charge of keeping Midgard (Earth) safe. She's been doing that for 700 years now. Being her type of Valkyrie means immortality, boosted physical qualities, control of the weather, and a bunch of other stuff. She's formidable in a fight, to say the least. Luckily, Meja's one of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. As long as you're not trying to hurt her friends, anyway. She rarely uses her titles, one of which is The Wolf of Midgard due to her longtime association with wolves and Fenrir — who is her sort of BFF.
Here's the not-condensed version of her tale, and here is some info on her cosmology, if anyone's curious. I look forward to throwing her at you all. c:
