A Plot post: Earthquakes are fun!
Nov. 25th, 2012 09:05 pmOn the morning of Day 15 (Tuesday, November 27th), there will be a mild earthquake. This might surprise some of the more Earth-attuned characters as the Cape is not on or near a fault line as far as any of them can tell. Particularly astute characters may notice that the rumbling seems worse closer to the center of town.
In the shaking, MOST of the buildings will be fine. Things might fall over or suffer superficial damage, however the only truly damaged building will be the diner. The Diner will be completely leveled, in fact (sorry, Kurt!).
Luckily, the only person inside will be an NPC (The young miss Maggie that your characters may have seen around the town since arriving). We will post a log late Monday night/early Tuesday morning for anyone who wants to be around or near the Diner. Otherwise feel free to have your characters react on the network or in logs for other locations.
The post is now here.
As an update on the wolves, characters may start to notice that since Loki's post-box tantrum, the dire wolves are thinning out, though there are still a few around, especially at night, and there are still a few saber-toothed cats wandering about, as well.
