Sea monster attack teams!

We've organized the teams for the sea monster plot, which will take place on Day 102 (Aug. 15-17). We ended up with five people being kidnapped, and they each have a set group of rescuers. ICly, the characters can either happen to team up with whoever they wind up standing next to/swimming next to, or they can make a plan beforehand and swim out, or whatever you like, really.

The sea monster: We're leaving control of the monster's tentacles to you guys in your individual threads, so please note the following information. The head and main body will be far back from the action, and the monster will fiercely protect itself if anyone goes after its head. You can try, but ultimately you'll only be able to free your victim. One of the reasons this is possible is that the monster is capable of severely poisoning anyone, resulting in paralysis if the monster is angry enough. This poison would affect all characters, regardless of healing powers or immunities. Other potential injuries are what you'd expect from being squeezed by strong tentacles that have sharp ridges here and there.

Remember that character death is a distinct possibility, and you're welcome to it if you want to go there. Please use the comments below for plotting with your team, or plurk, etc.

Putting in a brief note: if possible can Wallie's body drift off / wash up on shore somewhere, after the whole dying business? Kerry and I were discussing Lydia & Ned coming across it (because.... Lydia finding dead bodies). We mentioned this to Jessie and she seemed cool with it, just wanted to mention it so it can be factored in? Thank.

Well hey there. Here's a member of Team "Don't let Riley get nommed" that's happy to help. He has a gun (which, sadly, only has five bullets, but should prove useful nevertheless) and is a good shot! This is gonna be fun.

At least a few IC seconds to plan would be good for me, because Balthazar's going to be torn between Riley and Donna (he likes Charles and Alec fine, too, but priorities--and he hasn't met Shiala yet). So a moment of 'oh noooo my favorite mortal people!' and a chance to see that someone's helping everyone would be great.

God, Shiala is going to be so annoyed. She's supposed to be doing the rescuing, not the other way around, and definitely not supposed to be rescued by Mr. Jerk here.

If she's conscious, she will definitely be fighting back, but I guess paralysis might make a difference there. Ooh boy.

Ohhh two angels on one team, this'll be fun! Samandriel doesn't know Alec at all yet, obviously, but will still totally want to save him. The resemblance to Dean might help a little, but hey. Awkward rescues sound great to me. uvu
