As a follow-up to the last post, it seems that so far everyone is either in favor of a temporary cap for fandoms or has no strong opinion. We agree that a temporary cap would be best for the game's current cast of characters. (Quick note: This will not affect anyone currently in the process of applying who happens to read this.)

[Poll #1877687]

We also have a question as to how you all would feel about the possibility of moving to Dreamwidth. We're aware that the roleplaying community on Livejournal is shrinking and that the site's downtime can sometimes be a problem, as well. When it comes to the sustainability of the game, as well as its ability to attract new players, we're thinking that a move may be in the game's favor, but this is a pretty big choice and we want to see how the rest of you would feel about it.

[Poll #1877688]

If you have other suggestions for options for any of these, please let us know and please only vote with one journal each.

We would also love any suggestions or feedback anyone might have on the game so far. We know that the game has had a slow start and we would like to remedy that and work to get everyone involved and excited. We are going to start getting more of the metaplot going in the next few days and we hope that that will amp things up a little.

In addition, we would love to hear about what players would like to see in the way of side plots. Is there anything you want more or less of? Is there a specific plot-type or event-type you'd like to see come up in the next few months? The nice thing about having a small game is that we can really cater things and we want to do that, so please tell us what sort of things you'd like to see.

re: the second one, I said in favor because I tend to think it's a good idea, but "I'll happy play on either site" also applies!

Same here, but I did it backwards. Either one is good.

Ditto; I won't leave if it stays on LJ, but I am rather fond of Dreamwidth, personally.

WHOOPS didn't see the plot idea part, so that's going here:

Maybe a plot that would affect everyone in some way more directly than the box. Like idk, something physical or mental (age swap, sex/gender swap, power swap), or something to do with resources, like suddenly everyone's house has this or doesn't have this.

The physical/mental type of events are definitely things we'd like to toss in along with the metaplot things. I'm especially fond of sex/gender swap, myself. I was also thinking about something with hallucinations and subconscious thoughts.

Cutting off food and electricity are things that are definitely on the table and were things I planned when the game was still in planning stages, as well.

While I haven't been around Dreamwidth for long, I still prefer LJ. I'll move if the game does, but I'm kind of loathe to just pack up and go when we're just getting settled in.

Plot idea:

Everyone is given an individual task via their communicator. Can be writer's choice or mod-assigned, either one. And if they complete the task, they get a reward! Yay! If they don't ... there's a consequence.

Tasks could range anywhere from being super light to really intense.

I like the way you think.

Regarding DW vs. LJ, I have a paid account on LJ that I just renewed for Martha, though she's my only mun with a paid account anymore. DW only allows 15 free icons and I'm not a huge fan of moving icons over, though I won't leave the game over icons. I'm pretty happy to do whatever.
