Code Green 2: Electric Boogaloo

Sometime soon, Kobra Kid is going to anger Bruce enough that he's going to turn into the Hulk. LOOK OUT. What will this mean?

(1) Fights: He isn't necessarily the type to go after and intentionally try to harm people who aren't getting in his way. He'll mainly be super angry at Kobra Kid and anyone who attacks him, or tries to. He doesn't respond well to people trying to subdue him and he especially doesn't like it when people are able to one-up him. If you want to fight him, approach him while he's smashing up stuff and try to tell him to stop and he'll turn around to try to throw crap at your character.

He exits fights either by determining the person is down for the count, or if they're not the type to do that, then he'll get tired/bored/distracted and leave. Like I can have him literally just run away and hop across town if your character isn't the type to let him go. The Hulk's mostly resistant to mind control and is super crazy resilient. His abilities can be found listed in Bruce's app, here.

The way I usually play a rageHulk is that he's angry at first and willing to fight, but once the fighting goes on and he gets bored of it, he just wants to get away from everyone and everything. So eventually the day will end with him running off into the woods to fight shit until he gets tired. I'd be cool with people following him, but you'll have more than the Hulk to worry about in the woods!

(2) Conversations??: This Hulk will be a raging Hulk, so he'll be way less reasonable and conversational than he has been in his last three appearances. If you have prior CR with the Hulk or you're close to Bruce, then it's possible he'll have a moment of recognition and not harm you. For the most part, he'll just stop in the process of trying to hurt your character and then leave them completely alone, running off in another direction, I think, so the fight can stay open and stuff. He will NOT be friendly and he will NOT be in the mood to talk. If your character doesn't know Bruce or doesn't know the Hulk, then it's kind of open season if you're coming after him SORRY.

Bruce came out as the man behind the Hulk following his first Hulk out here, and that post can be found here. imo you're welcome to have your character be able to make the connection or not. You're free to assume that Bruce spoke to your character to get their name and basic info for his medical records if you want your character to be like BUT THAT'S THAT DOCTOR GUY????, but it won't be anything more than casual acquaintances. If you want to assume that, just let me know!

(3) Damage: He'll start out smashing up the picnic tables and the gazebo, maybe pulling up some trees, and then he can move in through the town and cause mostly minor damage to public buildings. I haven't decided which ones yet, but it won't be more than punching a hole in a wall or smashing doors/windows. He may destroy the fountain. This is a prime opportunity for your character to go HEY D:< STOP THAT D:< and get smashed, or a prime opportunity for your character to try to talk to him/become terrified.

I am putting this here because otherwise it will float from my mind like snow, SO: most of this Erik will like...avoid, because. Self-preservation and there's no reason for him to be involved, he's not pissy enough right now to just pick a fight. So. Staying inside? GOOD IDEARS.

He's useful for construction related endeavors tho, which are good wrt the last item. :3

Awesome! I'm not planning anything construction-related rn; that was just half an idea I tossed out because the Hulk's smashing my other character's boyfriend's friend's gazebo. Once the Hulking's over if people want to talk construction, then Dean will def be involved. :3

Ahah yeah, that's what I meant, I will forget half-tossed things. Dean can be the foreman and in charge of shirtlessness if you decided you want to do that thing, he can just ...point Erik and go "lift that." Which is what I would do if I had a dude around who could lift A-beams or whatever.

I'd love to have Hulk run across wolf!Brigid. She'll be out in the woods, so it can be well after he's smashed everything. She'll probably be running from the things in the woods and on all fours.

If that doesn't fit, that's cool. Just tossing out an idea.

Jubes, however, will be hiding under Wolverine. Nope. Hulk is so out of her paygrade.

OKAY GOOD YES. Sometime during the Hulk's rampage he can come into the village and maybe start harassing buildings/people there, which could make Raphael want to PUT A STOP TO IT ALL? The Hulk can wobble around and look like he's going to pass out for a few minutes before he FIGHTS OFF that angel mojo D:< and then comes for Raphael probably!

The Hulk easily gets pissed/frustrated with people who look like they can do magic. If he manages to get his hands on Raphael, he can smash him Loki-style loool.

If he's tearing up trees in the park Ivy will...take exception. To that. So she'll defintely be around and will at least try to fight him off - though she's not great with opponents she can't communicate with and one light tap will put her out of the fight easily.

oh SNAP. Yeah, I usually have him pull up trees etc. because they're an easy way for me to do Hulk-style damage without actually destroying all of the things in the game. SORRY, IVY. It's nothing personal! Maybe this will give her some fun stuff post-Hulk with replanting? I hope this doesn't mess up too much for you D: D:

But YES, she's welcome to yell at him to stop. He's very good at intimidating people away with his general face and growls and demeanor, or he can try to come after her. But he can get distracted or disinterested when she's clearly giving up the chase!
