Modsplosions Ahead

HELLO, lovelies. This is your modteam, coming to you with some exciting new things!
There's going to be a lot more action going on around the cape for the next few months. We've got some good stuff planned and we'll announce it as it comes, but for now some clarifications and wrap-ups are in order.
DREAM PLOT
Starting on Day 83, the residents of Cape Kore experienced some pretty invasive dream-merging whenever they fell asleep. Some people didn't realise what was going on until after they woke up. Others were fully aware that they were in a dream and were able to manipulate their surroundings. Closer to Day 85, the dreamers were more likely to end up in a collective dream set in a crystaline city. Since Day 88, the dream invasions have ended, but if your character tries hard enough they will still be able to acess the collective dream with other players. With enough effort and practice, some characters may even still be able to dreamhop into specific people's dreams. Both of these options are open to players for plotting purposes at any time in the game unless otherwise specified.
In the future, the collective dream may resurface for all residents. Stay tuned for more on that.
Also, it's not too late to tag Maggie's open dream post here! This is important to the game's plot and how Maggie fits into Cape Kore at large. At some point your character would have at least seen this in their dreams during the last game week, so keep this in mind for things to come. Please don't be afraid to tag in still! Your character could end up with some important information if you do.
NPCS
Speaking of NPCS, the mod team is making an effort to get said NPCs back in action. Here is a list of the NPCs currently in game, and they are always available for your character to talk to if they'd like. From now on, you may get one of the NPCs tagging your posts if it interests them! Don't hesitate to ask for one of them to be present during an event, or even just for conversations. Just like with Maggie, all of the NPCs potentially have important information regarding the game's overreaching plot if you poke and prod at them. :)
ALSO. Regarding the NPCs, Edgar Stane, the self-appointed mayor and food rationer of the town, has put up a network post introducing himself here. He's also brought up an interesting piece of information that may lead to the citizens of Cape Kore being able to escape the town! Imagine that.
STATE OF THE CAPE
Okay, so there are some things that may have been causing confusion that should be clarified! First of all: all food in the Cape has stopped reappearing since Day 16 (11/30-12/2) in game. There is a serious shortage of food and people might be feeling that. There is some food left over from the crate drop on Day 42 (2/16 - 2/18), and Edgar Stane has most of it that's left stockpiled in Town Hall. He is rationing it out to everybody in the town. Any other food that characters may eat includes vegetables from the gardening club, or various woodland creatures that the hunting club has caught.
Second of all! The weather in the Cape is now vaguely spring-ish. It's cold at nights and decently warm during the day.
Third of all! We've noticed a few characters have mentioned taming and keeping the dire wolves/saber tooth tigers as pets. These animals are not meant to be tolerant of any of the characters in town, and keeping one as a pet would be next to impossible because they're prone to turning violent at any time, much like any sort of wild animal. These creatures are dangerous! If your character wants to try to keep one as a pet, they're welcome to, but it will end badly, no matter how amazing your character is at taming. There will be limbs lost or faces torn off, they're not nice animals.
THE ROAD SO FAR

( more important stuff under the cut )
