The Box will be opening this weekend. A more detailed plot post to follow.
MOVING TO DREAMWIDTH
We will indeed be moving the game to Dreamwidth after The Box plot is resolved. We plan for a full import of everything between next Tuesday-Thursday. An exact time and date will be posted to make sure that no tags get left behind in the move once we have work schedules for next week and know when we will actually be online to do it. (I will do the math for all of your time zones when I post it. Do we have anyone outside of US/Canada time zones other than GMT?)
When you get the chance, please claim your openID with your new journal there so that all imported content will show up as your new journal with icons! If you need help beyond the FAQ post, contact Lauren and she will walk you through it! Also go ahead and join![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
cape_kore, kore_logs and kore_ooc with your new accounts. Please comment to the Taken page there with your new journal(s). Just a comment so we can get the new username and icon are fine. You don't need to fill out the whole thing again. We will update the new usernames on the OOC contact post from that, as well. All players have until the end of November to do this. It will count as part of your AC for the month. We will remind you, so don't worry if you forget!
In the meantime, we are sprucing things up over there to get it ready. The mod journal and OOC community have already been imported. (quick note: We haven't changed the links on the profile pages yet, so those will just bring you back to the LJ pages, but the links on the side of the communities and mod journals should all be the new DW ones.)
FANDOM CAPS
There was pretty high favor of viewing MCU and Marvel comics as separate fandoms. Because we are about to move, we don't want to move with a fandom pre-capped and the vote was pretty close between 6 or 8. We are going with 8.
ORIGINAL CHARACTERS
We are thinking about allowing non-fandom/tabletop/etc OCs. Our feeling is that if someone can write a thorough and balanced application and wants to play, why not? Obviously we will expect these applications to meet a high standard, especially with the history section, and to be well-developed, as we expect from any application.
